On November 21, Walt Disney Pictures will release “Bolt”, starring the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus, and featuring Motorhead’s song “Dog-Face Boy” from the band’s “Sacrifice” album.

The song can be heard in a mailroom scene where a young worker is listening on headphones and inadvertently wraps super-dog Bolt up in a box that gets shipped off to New York City.

Oddly enough this isn’t the first Motorhead song to be on a kid’s movie soundtrack and Disney isn’t the first studio to plug into Motorhead’s mixing board as one of the legendary metal band’s diabolical ditties appeared on the “SpongeBob SquarePants” as well.

“It’s never too early to get the kids started on our music,” said leather lunged Lemmy of the group’s broadening fan base.

In pairings of a not so dissimilar nature, Motorhead and Social Distortion will be part of the inaugural 25-city Samsung Mobile Musink Tattoo and Music Festival, which will also feature popular tattoo artist, cable TV personality and Nikki Sixx gal pal Kat Von D on all dates.

An official itinerary is still in the works, but the North American trek will visit arenas, exhibition halls and convention centers beginning January 30 in San Francisco. Finally a chance to get tinnitus and hepatitis at the same show!
